<p class="text-muted mb-3">Saturday after midnight: £32.00 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers to support operations within a busy port environment in the Teesside area.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role involves the safe movement of trailers, containers, and bulk products across operational areas within the port.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous tug, shunting, trailer, container, or HGV driving experience who are looking to work within a fast-paced and dynamic port operation.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operate shunt vehicles safely within the port.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Move trailers, containers, and bulk products between operational areas.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Connect and disconnect trailers as required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete vehicle safety inspections before and after each shift.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow all site and port Health & Safety procedures.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaise with operational teams to ensure the efficient movement of cargo.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Report vehicle defects and safety concerns promptly.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach at all times.Essential Requirements</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience as a Shunter Driver.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK Driving Licence with no major endorsements.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Own transport and ability to travel reliably to site.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays if required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good understanding of Health & Safety within transport, logistics, industrial, or port environments.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Successful completion of a site driving assessment before commencement.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Attendance at a site induction prior to starting.Desirable Experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Container haulage experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Trailer movement or yard shunting experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience within a port, terminal, logistics, or transport operation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience handling bulk products.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience working to strict operational deadlines.Additional Information</p>
