Site Engineer

Reference: _ Job title: Site EngineerJob Type: PERMANENTStart date: ASAPSalary Range: competitve pa + Car Allowance + Benefits Location: Seascale, Cumbria Hours of work: 40 hours -pw - Full Site BasedRole information: * Collaborate with project, commercial and subcontractor teams to deliver works safely, efficiently and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements. * Provide accurate engineering control, setting out, permits and technical documentation, ensuring works are delivered in line with approved designs, programmes and temporary works requirements. * Support project planning and delivery through programme input, progress monitoring, measurement data provision and maintenance of accurate site records and reports. * Drive a strong safety, quality and environmental culture by undertaking inspections, managing compliance processes, identifying risks and non-conformances, and supporting incident investigations. * Mentor and develop junior team members, contributing to team performance through coaching, delegation and technical support. * Ensure all project documentation, quality records and reporting requirements are maintained and uploaded in accordance with company management systems and project procedures.Qualifications/Experience Required: * Degree/HND/HNC - In relevant Engineering Discipline - Preferred but not essential * Previous nuclear experience - Essential * Basic knowledge of construction industry and standard construction techniques - Essential * Basic knowledge of project, obtained through project induction * Good appreciation of commercial and contractual requirements - NEC - Desirable UK National Security Vetting Status - Ability to gain SC ClearanceInterested in this position? please click "apply now"We try to respond to all applicants, but sometimes this is not possible due to high volumes of applications; if you have not heard from us within 14 days, regrettably it means you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.Company information: This PERMANENT vacancy is being advertised by Rullion Ltd Since 1978, Rullion has been securing exceptional candidates for a range of clients; from large well-known brands, to SMEs and start-ups.
