As a Customer Relations Officer can be based in Fareham or Maldon, you'll be at the heart of our Customer Hub, helping customers receive an excellent experience while supporting essential environmental services. Salary: £30,584 per annum

Benefits: Life Assurance x3, up to 3% annual bonus, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, Holiday Buy Back Scheme, Company Sick Pay, and 3% employer pension contribution.

Location: Enterprise Park, Fareham or Maldon

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

What will I be doing?

As a Customer Relations Officer, you'll join a large, successful, and supportive Customer Hub team that plays a vital role in delivering excellent service to our customers every day.

This is a fast-paced role where you'll predominantly handle inbound customer calls and emails, responding to enquiries, resolving issues, and managing complaints with professionalism and empathy. No two days are the same, so you'll need to be resilient, adaptable, and confident in finding solutions while maintaining a positive customer experience.

You will:

• Respond to customer enquiries and complaints via phone and email, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Build positive relationships with customers, ensuring they feel heard, informed, and supported.
• Manage customer expectations and resolve issues professionally, even in challenging situations.
• Work closely with colleagues across the Customer Hub to deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Contribute to a growing team where continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer focus are at the heart of what we do.

What are the

requirements?

• Previous administration experience, with the ability to create and maintain positive customer levels whilst managing expectations
• Professional, confident and efficient, with excellent communication skills and a passion for putting our customers first.
• Resolving customer problems promptly, whilst proactively promoting customer loyalty through account reviews and retaining existing accounts.
• A true team player, with the ability to be flexible, support and collaborate with the team where necessary.
