Stock and Pricing Analyst

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent Stock and Pricing Analyst to work for a highly reputable client based in Hartlepool. Reporting to the Regional Supply Chain Manager, the role entails taking the current stock & contract position against market price to evaluate the potential risk and opportunities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Stock and Pricing Analyst Main Duties & Responsibilities:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Stock Reconciliations for multiple locations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Preparatory work for ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 audits</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Month End processes reconcile stock lines against ledger postings</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Make commercial recommendations regarding pricing based on information available</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coordinate fuel supply from terminals and refineries to depots and end customers utilising all contract and spot purchase options to maximise savings</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work closely with transport teams and third party hauliers to manager delivery schedules and resolve logistic issues</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Producing Management Information reports as required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide cover for Billing Specialist role as and when required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage pricing sheets including monitoring orders placed against available stock</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Risk Management - Identify potential risks and opportunities within the stock position. Produce a reporting mechanism and ensure risks are mitigated and opportunities maximised by forward buying, hedging and discounting or adding to purchase price</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Contract Management - Ensure supply contracts are being utilised in line with contract terms and variances are identified and reported to senior management</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Stock reconciliations - Reconciling book to physical stock daily and problem solve when they do not match</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Procurement - Ensure all buying is done economically by managing contracts and spot opportunities efficiently</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supplier Relationship Management - Develop a mutually beneficial relationship with supply partners through regular communication and optimizing processes to ensure suppliers meet performance, quality and cost standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">PL Reconciliation - Deal with Purchase Ledger queries ensure ledger is clean and all accruals and pre payments are recorded for the management accounts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Internal checking/auditing - Periodically check supplier documentation ensure approved supplier's lists are maintained in accordance with ISO standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">ISO 9001/14001/45001 - Ensure company is fully compliant with IS0 9001/14001/45001 standards, perform internal audits and manage external audit</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Stock and Pricing Analyst Applicants:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Personal Qualities:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">High level of numeracy accuracy, high level of detail, ability to work in fast paced environment and prioritise work-load accordingly, adaptability, self-motivation, problem solving</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Highly numerate & analytical able to evaluate costs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Commercially minded ability to think on their feet and propose multiple solutions to problems and pivot depending on the situation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Phlegmatic ability to remain calm in a pressurised environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Negotiation skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Qualifications & Experience:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">CIPS Level 3 or above/AAT level 4 or above or equivalent professional qualification is desirable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience in a supply/stock management role is preferable but not essential</p>
