Stock Control Operative

We are recruiting a Stock Control Operative in Banbury, to carry out all aspects of warehouse duties as required, taking care to avoid damage to the stock and the warehouse premises.

07:00-15:00 shift available

15:00 - 23:00 shifts available

Responsibilities:

Goods In - Unload trailers or containers, ensuring stock is correct, undamaged, and palletised correctly. Details to be accurately recorded and receipted into the warehouse.

Picking - Efficiently assemble loads without error using the RF equipment provided.

Accept and achieve regularly revised and high pick rates

Replenishment - Ensure daily replenishment of picking locations within the time scales allocated. The use of MHE may be required.

Ensure that all stock is safely stored in an assigned location

Loading - Ensure that all loads agree with transport paperwork and are loaded on time, stacked in the correct sequence, and are configured and restrained correctly.

Ensure all customer's queries are being answered.

Ensure all stock control tasks and spreadsheets are up to date.

The ideal candidate:

• Maintain good time keeping.
• Maintain a good standard of housekeeping.
• Ensure that personal presentation (appearance & manner) meets the requirements of the job function.
• Accept the occasional irregularity of hours to achieve completion of important tasks.
