Pay Rate: From £12.71 per hour, with more available for the right candidate

Contract: Temporary to Permanent Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00

Start Date: ASAP

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a reliable, presentable and customer-focused Stores Coordinator to join our client's team on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining stores duties, order picking, purchase order administration and front counter customer service.

You will be dealing directly with tradespeople at the front counter, assisting with their requirements and developing your product knowledge to help customers find the right products for their needs.

Key Responsibilities of this Stores Coordinator / Front counter Support role

Managing stores duties and keeping stock organised.

Picking and preparing customer orders accurately.

Raising and processing purchase orders (POs).

Providing front desk support and serving customers at the counter.

Dealing professionally with tradespeople and assisting with product enquiries.

Learning the company's products to confidently advise customers and support sales.

Assisting with deliveries and collections, including driving a 3.5-tonne van when required.

Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.The Ideal Candidate for this Stores Coordinator / Front counter Support position:

Presentable, professional and confident when dealing with customers.

Computer literate, with good administration skills.

Experience working in Stores (Stock control, picking products, Goods in/out, Inputting data)

Reliable, organised and able to work on their own initiative.

Willing to learn about products and develop their sales knowledge.

Holds a full UK driving licence and is comfortable driving a 3.5-tonne van.

Previous experience in stores, warehouse operations, trade counter sales or a similar role would be advantageous.

A valid forklift licence (Counterbalance)What's on Offer?
