Maintenance Engineer

We’ve partnered with a well-known company based in black country. We are looking to recruit an electrically bias maintenance engineer. My client is an established and growing UK industrial business with a strong heritage, modern facilities and a focus on quality, reliability and continuous improvement.

This role is a multi-skilled role working in a heavy engineering environment.

You will be working a Monday to Friday day shift with a team of engineers. My client is looking for a maintenance engineer that they can develop and progress their career.

Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

• £45,000 - £46,000
• Premium OT (x1.5 & x2).
• 33 days holiday.

• Days only.

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and equipment
• Responding to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
• Maintaining motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors and production machinery
• Carrying out reactive maintenance to minimise production downtime
• Completing routine inspection and servicing of equipment
• Working with PLC-controlled machinery and basic electrical control systems

Maintenance Engineer

Requirements include

• Apprentice trained.
• Recognised electrical qualifications.
• 18th edition (desirable).
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
• PLC fault finding would be beneficial.
