<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain professional to join us on a 2 year FTC in a site-based role, providing cover for our Supply Chain Managers as they focus on a major systems integration programme across our sites.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Starting at Greencore Heathrow, you'll take on a 6-month rotation, before moving to another site as the programme progresses. We are looking for someone to start in role in January 2027.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Over 2 years, you'll complete 4 6-month rotations, providing valuable experience across different sites, teams and Supply Chain operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What you'll be doing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As Supply Chain Manager, you will lead a supply chain team, for a manufacturing unit, to ensure that functional capability and team performance are built and directed to deliver business plans and targets.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Implement the agreed supply chain strategy to achieve budgeted business performance and build the functional capability to deliver business strategic objectives</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide leadership and direction to ensure that across the business the supply chain team are kept safe, engaged, focused, developed and delivering to their potential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Promote compliance with and the improvement of safe operating policies and practices across all supply chain operations within the business, including third parties to embed a safety first culture within the working environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify new/emerging legal or customer led audit</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements and develop plans to achieve compliance, securing funds if necessary to build systems and processes to maximise adherence to policy</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure forecasting, planning, material requisitions, stock control, warehousing and distribution processes are in place at all locations to ensure customer service expectations are met in the most efficient and cost effective manner</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Oversee the deployment of the Sales and Operating planning process to ensure sufficient production capacity, stocks or finished goods and raw materials, and labour are in place to meet customer orders at the best optimum cost</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Together with Purchasing, negotiate and manage third party contracts to minimise costs, build effective working relationships and ensure service delivery</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Act as the Supply Chain lead in cross functional/customer projects to ensure that all developments include collaborative working which results in successful new implementations and ongoing service improvementWhat we're looking for</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of the convenience food market</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience across all supply chain functions (forecasting, production planning and scheduling, standard operating procedure (SOP), inventory management, warehousing, distribution planning, distribution operations, third-party logistics management)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience of leading and developing teams</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience of working in a fast paced, growth industry or business</p>
