<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client is a leading consumer electronics brand, specialising in household and commercial products. They are known for their high-quality market leading products, excellent customer service and their commitment to innovation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Due to their growth, they are looking to recruit a new Supply Chain & Operations Director to help strategise and run their European expansion.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role will look after end-to-end supply chain operations including sales order processing, logistics, purchasing and warehouses. The role will manage a high-functioning team providing coaching and leadership expertise.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This role is pivotal in shaping operations globally, strategically improving processes and ensuring the supply chain is fit for purpose to accommodate incredibly ambitious growth plans. The company has already massively grown within the past 6 months in European markets.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Responsibilities:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain operation, covering procurement, international freight, warehousing, distribution, logistics and customer order fulfilment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business growth, improve service levels and align with wider commercial goals.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure stock levels are effectively managed to meet forecasted customer demand while balancing inventory efficiency.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, overseeing global sourcing activities alongside international transport and import processes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Enhance the effectiveness of both inbound and outbound logistics operations, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide leadership to purchasing, logistics and order management teams, ensuring operational excellence and accuracy throughout the customer journey.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Design and implement operational frameworks, procedures and performance measures that can support continued business expansion.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strengthen operational capability and scalability to support ongoing expansion across multiple European markets.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage and develop relationships with external logistics providers, fulfilment partners and warehouse operators.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support the ongoing review and optimisation of the European warehousing network to ensure it remains fit for future growth.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assess distribution and logistics models, introducing improvements that enhance customer service, increase agility and lower operating costs.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain robust inventory control practices across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring stock accuracy and visibility.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead improvements in operational systems, management reporting and business processes to maximise performance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify opportunities to automate manual activities through system enhancements, workflow optimisation and technology adoption.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Use operational metrics, business intelligence and KPI reporting to drive data-led decision making.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Promote a culture focused on accountability, innovation and continuous operational improvement.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience & Qualifications</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Significant leadership experience within supply chain, operations, logistics or a related discipline, ideally at Head of Department, Senior Manager or Director level.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong background managing international supply chains, preferably within consumer goods, retail, electrical products, appliances or other multi-channel trading environments.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience overseeing logistics, warehousing and distribution activities across European markets.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Demonstrable success in improving supply chain performance, operational structures and process efficiency.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience managing relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), warehousing partners and overseas suppliers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong leadership credentials with a track record of building, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable working within fast-growing, entrepreneurial businesses where flexibility and pace are essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Highly competent using ERP platforms, operational reporting systems and the Microsoft Office suite.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate operational data into practical business improvements.</p>
