Supply Chain Planner

This client are a Global organisation with a newly created department, and have a position for a Supply Chain Planner to join the team. The position will be a key position within the company, managing the flow of products from factory to customers. The suitable candidate will need to have previous experience within Supply Chain, someone who is a good communicator as this person will be working with various parties including suppliers, customers, internal departments and more.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 plus good benefits</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday - Friday - 35 hour working week - fully office based to start, hybrid after probation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Some of the duties will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working with suppliers, customers and internal teams to ensure a smooth delivery process</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaising with factories globally</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Negotiating with factories where necessary to meet customer</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Tracking shipments and purchase orders, as well as general administration as required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Analysing supply chain data to identify performance issues</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support continuous improvement across supply chain process</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working between internal and external stakeholders</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Creating and maintaining Supply Chain KPI's to Senior Management, including on-time delivery, inventory and any cost related metrics</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Implement, updated and maintain supply chain software</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The suitable candidate:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience within supply chain, logistics and inventory management</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong communication skills on all levels</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good IT skills including Excel, supply chain software and ERP systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Must be local to the Elstree area</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Happy to be initially office based</p>
