<p class="text-muted mb-3">What you'll be doing;</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manual sweeping of streets and other areas (which can include footways, channels, alleys, subways, under and around street furniture etc.)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">ou will receive the relevant training, to remove all dirt, dust, litter, excreta, loose chipping, debris, blossom, leaves, vegetation or any other matter whatsoever to achieve the required standard of the contract</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure that all Gully Grids are clear of any obstruction and that sweepings arising are not swept over or pushed down gully grids; such action may lead to disciplinary action.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Empty litter bins found within your beat, ensuring that the liners are replaced properly.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Report locations of any fly-tipping, graffiti, fly-posting, or damaged/missing litter bins to your Foreman.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To work alone or as part of a team with or without the assistance of cleaning machines or as otherwise directed.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure that the tasks are completed to schedule, and report any discrepancies immediately to your Working Foreman or manager</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Perform duties in an efficient and effective manner that will ensure maximum productivity.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be aware of your obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act, 1974 and follow the Code of Safe Working Practice for Street Cleansing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To ensure that all accidents and near misses that occur during the shift are reported fully to your Foreman/Manager, to the Police if appropriate and that accident/near miss reports are completed before you leave work.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">At the start of each shift and prior to leaving the depot, check your equipment to ensure it is in good condition and exchange damaged or worn-out items. Report anything that needs to be repaired to your Foreman/Manager.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Responsible of the thorough cleansing of the sweepers' barrow as per the cleansing schedule to maintain a courteous and professional relationship with members of the public, client staff and colleagues</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Attend any training course requested by your Foreman/Manager.</p>
