Technical Analyst

Do you have an Aeronautical Engineering background with 2–3 years’ experience working within an aviation technical team?

We are delighted to support a Dublin-based aviation advisory firm in hiring a Technical Analyst to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to build on their technical experience while gaining broader exposure to the aircraft leasing and aviation advisory industry.

The role will involve supporting technical analysis across aircraft assets, working closely with technical, commercial and wider advisory teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support technical reviews and analysis of aircraft and aviation assets.
• Review aircraft technical records, maintenance documentation and technical data.
• Maintain and update aircraft technical specifications, records and databases.
• Analyse aircraft utilisation, maintenance events and component status.
• Assist with aircraft technical due diligence and asset reviews.
• Support the review of maintenance-related information and documentation.
• Prepare technical analysis, reports and client deliverables.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge across relevant aircraft types.
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders on technical matters.
• Contribute to wider aircraft leasing and aviation advisory projects.

Core Competencies

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Technology or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years’ experience working within an aviation technical team.
• Strong understanding of aircraft technical information and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working with technical data and documentation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience within aircraft leasing would be advantageous.
• Commercially minded, proactive and keen to develop within an advisory environment.
