Technical Manager

Our client is looking for a Technical Manager with a housing construction back ground

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced TechnicalManager to join their team and take responsibility for the technical delivery of a number of residential developments.

The successful candidate will manage projects from pre-acquisition and planning through to construction and completion, working closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors and external stakeholders.

The Role

• Managing the technical delivery of multiple residential developments
• Coordinating architects, engineers, consultants and other design teams
• Reviewing and managing technical drawings, specifications and design information
• Supporting the planning, pre-construction and procurement process
• Ensuring designs are technically compliant, buildable and commercially viable
• Identifying and resolving technical issues throughout the construction process
• Working closely with Construction, Commercial and Development teams
• Managing design programmes and ensuring information is issued on time
• Supporting the delivery of high-quality homes in line with company standards

About You

We are looking for a technically strong TechnicalManager with experience within residential development or house building.

You will ideally have:

• Strong technical knowledge of residential construction
• Experience managing consultants and design teams
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• A commercially aware and proactive approach
