<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: Full Time 37.5 Hours per Week, Monday - Thursday 8:15am - 4:45pm (45 Minute Lunch), Friday 8:15am - 3:45pm (1 hour lunch)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Stafflex are recruiting for a Trade Counter & Stores Advisor to join an established and growing business in Huddersfield.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a varied position combining trade counter/customer service, with goods in/out and general stores duties, with the opportunity to develop additional technical product knowledge through training.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're keen to hear from people who have previous experience within a trade counter or goods in/out or similar environments and are comfortable dealing with customers as part of their role.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll be joining a hands-on team where no two days are exactly the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to develop their skills in a technical environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Serving customers on the trade counter and providing excellent customer service</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Building positive relationships with new and existing customers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Receiving incoming goods and ensuring products are handled correctly</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Picking, preparing and despatching customer orders</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Preparing products and equipment for customer collection or delivery</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting the organisation and day-to-day running of the stores</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reviewing products and pricing to identify sales opportunities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out basic technical tasks and product preparation (following training)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting equipment demonstrations as your product knowledge develops</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Making occasional local deliveries</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Opening and closing the premises when required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining high standards of housekeeping</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following Health & Safety procedures at all times</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">About you</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're looking for someone practical, reliable and customer-focused, who is happy working across both the trade counter and stores. You may be currently working as a Trade Counter Assistant, Trade Counter Sales Advisor, Stores Person, Goods In/Goods Out Operative or similar.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll ideally have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good customer service and communication skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A positive attitude with a strong work ethic</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Great attention to detail</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good organisational and time management skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Confident use in computer based systems, including Microsoft Office</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A full UK driving license with no pending disqualifications</p>
