Transport Manager

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands on role where you’ll take ownership of compliance, fleet performance, driver management and day‑to‑day transport efficiency.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage daily transport operations, ensuring efficient routing, scheduling and delivery performance</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead, support and develop drivers and transport staff</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain full compliance with all transport legislation, including tachographs, Working Time Directive and vehicle safety</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Oversee fleet maintenance, inspections and defect reporting</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor KPIs such as delivery performance, cost control and utilisation</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure accurate record‑keeping for audits and regulatory checks</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and customers to resolve transport related issues</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Transport Manager CPC qualification (essential)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong knowledge of Operator Licence obligations</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understanding of DVSA regulations, vehicle roadworthiness and driver hours</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience managing compliance systems such as tachograph analysis and maintenance schedules</p>
