<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client, an established logistics company based in Trafford Park, is looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join its busy transport team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and solutions-focused professional with UK transport planning experience. You will coordinate export trailers and multi-drop collection and delivery operations, ensuring services run efficiently and customers receive their deliveries on time.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working Hours</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your standard working hours will be:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Holiday shift cover: Early shift, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Holiday shift cover: Late shift, 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Occasional Saturday mornings: Paid as overtime in addition to salary</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Annual Leave</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will receive 30 days of annual leave, including bank holidays. This increases with length of service up to a maximum of 35 days.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a Transport Planner, your duties will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Planning and coordinating export trailers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Planning multi-drop collection and delivery vehicles to achieve on-time performance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring all customer collections are completed efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Adjusting schedules in response to changing customer and network demands.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaising with drivers and colleagues to maintain high daily operational standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitoring driver performance and communicating delays effectively.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Troubleshooting live transport issues and implementing practical solutions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining accurate records and providing operational updates when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Skills and Experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate will have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous transport planning experience within a UK-based logistics company.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ability to organise, manage and utilise people and resources effectively.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good computer skills, with full training provided on in-house systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A flexible approach to working hours and shift cover.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ability to remain calm and effective in a time-critical environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A proactive approach and strong problem-solving abilities.</p>
