<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Transport Supervisor to join a well-known and established transport and logistics company based in Redditch.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with transport, logistics or supervisory experience who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and professional operation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working as part of the transport management team,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily transport operations, supporting drivers and maintaining high standards of service, safety and compliance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supervising and coordinating day-to-day transport operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Managing and supporting a team of drivers and transport staff.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring vehicles and drivers are operating safely and efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitoring driver performance, attendance and compliance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting the planning and coordination of routes and deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Dealing with operational issues and resolving problems quickly and effectively.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring all transport legislation, company policies and procedures are followed.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Communicating effectively with drivers, management, customers and other departments.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitoring service levels and helping to maintain high customer satisfaction.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Completing relevant transport administration and operational records.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting the Transport Manager with the overall running of the operation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Taking responsibility for the operation during your shift and escalating issues where appropriate.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate will ideally have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience within a transport, logistics or distribution environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supervisory or team-leading experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong organisational and communication skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A good understanding of transport operations and driver management.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good IT and administrative skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The flexibility to work additional hours where required, particularly during the training period.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Flexibility will be required initially until you are fully trained and established in the role.</p>
