Vehicle Technician – Snodland

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to join a fleet workshop in Snodland. Applicants must either hold a Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years' employment as a Technician/Mechanic, or be fully qualified to Level 3, with strong servicing, repair and diagnostic experience and the right to work in the UK.

Salary: £39,729 basic

OTE: £45,729 plus overtime

Hours: 42.5 hours per week – day shifts only

Overtime: Available as required, paid at time and a half

Service, maintain and repair a varied fleet of cars and vans

Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle faults

Inspect vehicles and identify required repair work

Complete mechanical repairs safely and efficiently

Ensure vehicles remain safe, roadworthy and legally compliant

Maintain high standards of workmanship across all repairs

Work with the wider workshop team to maximise fleet availabilityVehicle Technician

Requirements

Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years' employment as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, or a fully qualified Level 3 Technician

Strong servicing, maintenance and mechanical repair experience

Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Comfortable working across a varied car and van fleet

Strong focus on safety, quality and vehicle compliance

Reliable and able to work effectively within a workshop team
