<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to take ownership of the full warehouse operation for a large, leading foodservice distributor based in Worcester.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a high-energy, fast-paced operation where service, accuracy, efficiency and deadlines are critical. You'll be responsible for leading a busy warehouse and dispatch operation, developing your team, driving continuous improvement and ensuring operational performance consistently meets business and customer expectations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As Warehouse Operations Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and effectively.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead and manage a large warehouse and dispatch operation in a fast-paced environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Take full operational responsibility for warehouse performance, productivity and service levels.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead, motivate and develop a sizeable warehouse team, creating a strong culture of accountability and high performance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes, systems and ways of working.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Set clear expectations and KPIs, monitor performance and take appropriate action where required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage performance effectively, supporting team development while addressing underperformance where necessary.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure customer orders are picked, checked and dispatched accurately and on time.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure the operation consistently meets demanding deadlines and service</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work closely with other areas of the business to ensure effective stock flow, order fulfilment and dispatch.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and maximise warehouse productivity.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain high standards of health & safety, compliance, housekeeping and operational discipline.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead the operation through periods of peak demand, ensuring resources are effectively planned and deployed.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coach and develop your management team and wider warehouse workforce.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're looking for an experienced warehouse or distribution leader who is comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll ideally have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience managing a busy warehouse operation, ideally within foodservice, FMCG, retail, grocery or another high-volume distribution environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong experience leading and developing large operational teams.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A track record of driving improvements in warehouse performance, productivity and efficiency.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience managing KPIs, targets and operational performance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Confidence in managing people, including performance management and development.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively when working to tight deadlines.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A hands-on, visible leadership style with the ability to engage and motivate teams.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The resilience and commercial awareness to thrive in a demanding operational environment.</p>
