<p class="text-muted mb-3">Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join the furniture department of a leading national retailer's distribution centre in Armthorpe, Doncaster (DN3).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is an ongoing temporary opportunity offering regular shifts, enhanced overtime rates, full training and long-term prospects within a modern warehouse environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a Warehouse Operative,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for handling furniture products and supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy distribution centre. Duties include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Moving sofas from pallets to designated workstations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Applying protective caps to sofa corners and edges</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Bagging and sealing furniture ready for dispatch</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Palletising completed products</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and unloading household goods from trailers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Handling bulky items safely and efficiently</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting general distribution and logistics activities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining quality and health & safety standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This Warehouse Operative position involves manual handling and regular heavy lifting, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work and being part of a team-focused environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours & Shifts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">6:00am - 6:00pm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Choose from Week 1: Sunday to Wednesday Week 2: Sunday to Tuesday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">OR Week 1: Wednesday to Saturday Week 2: Thursday to Saturday</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Rotating weekly pattern</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Overtime available</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£12.99 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate (£19.49 per hour)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Weekly pay</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We would like to hear from candidates who have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Loader, Order Picker, Packer or Logistics Operative, although this is not essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A good level of fitness due to the physical nature of the role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safety footwear for site</p>
