<p class="text-muted mb-3">We’re recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy, friendly and well-established company based just outside Bishop’s Stortford.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We currently have opportunities within the Inventory Support Team and Goods In Department. These are hands-on warehouse roles and are not predominately picking and packing positions, unless needed to help in that department.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Inventory Support Warehouse Operative You’ll support the Inventory Team by checking stock, validating stock levels and ensuring records are accurate. This role involves a lot of counting, checking and physically moving boxes and stock around the warehouse.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Duties will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Counting stock and carrying out regular stock checks</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Checking and validating physical stock against inventory records</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Investigating and reporting stock discrepancies</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Moving boxes and stock around the warehouse</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Relocating and organising stock correctly</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assisting with stocktakes and inventory checks</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining accurate stock records</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Keeping warehouse areas clean, tidy and organised Goods In Warehouse Operative You’ll support the Goods In Department, helping to ensure incoming deliveries are received, checked and moved to the correct locations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Duties will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Receiving and checking incoming deliveries</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Checking goods against delivery paperwork</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Inspecting deliveries for shortages, discrepancies or damage</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Booking stock in and putting goods away</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Labelling and organising incoming stock</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Moving goods safely around the warehouse</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining accurate records</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assisting other areas of the warehouse when required Previous Goods In experience would be beneficial but is not essential. A valid forklift truck or reach truck licence would also be an advantage, although this is not essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous warehouse experience preferred</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good attention to detail</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Confident with counting and checking stock accurately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Physically fit and comfortable moving boxes and stock</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reliable, punctual and hardworking</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Able to work at a steady pace in a busy environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Team player with a positive attitude</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Friday afternoons off – finish at 12.45pm</p>
