Warehouse Operative

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client is a small, friendly UK distributor of disposable medical products. They are looking for a reliable, organised and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their team ideally on a temporary to permanent basis.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a varied, hands-on role in a fabulous environment that is more like an office than a warehouse! </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The existing members of staff are helpful and supportive and are looking for someone who will play an important part in ensuring their customers receive their orders accurately and on time.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your contribution will really matter as the products distributed support people in their everyday lives, so accuracy, reliability and excellent customer service make a genuine difference.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Due to the location you MUST drive and have a car. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your main responsibilities will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Receiving and checking incoming deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Processing orders and maintaining accurate records using Sage Line 50.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaising with customers, suppliers and shipping agents when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The client is looking for someone who is:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A good communicator with a friendly and professional manner.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A positive team player who can also work independently and use their initiative.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Flexible, reliable and willing to learn.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable with the practical, physical aspects of a warehouse role.Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience would be an advantage, as would experience with Sage Line 50, Microsoft Word and Excel, but full training will be provided to the right person.</p>
