Meridian Business Support is recruiting a Warehouse Operative / Driver to join a busy and established furniture distribution business based near Tarporley, Cheshire.
If you enjoy practical, hands-on work and are looking for a role that offers variety, stable weekday hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position, this could be the role for you.
As a Warehouse Operative / Driver , you'll play an important part in ensuring customer orders are processed, loaded and delivered safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include:

• Picking and preparing furniture orders for dispatch
• Unloading containers and moving stock throughout the site
• Loading and securing products onto company vehicles
• Completing local and regional deliveries using a 3.5-tonne van
• Processing returns and carrying out basic product checks
• Maintaining accurate stock locations and keeping work areas organised
• Supporting colleagues to ensure orders are completed on time
• Following safe manual handling and health and safety procedures

This Warehouse Operative / Driver opportunity offers a good balance of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy a varied working day.
To be successful as a Warehouse Operative / Driver , you will need:

• A full UK driving licence
• Confidence driving 3.5-tonne vehicles
• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, delivery driver, van driver or dispatch environment
• The ability to perform regular manual handling and heavy lifting
• A reliable and positive approach to work
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team

Please note: Due to the client's vehicle insurance requirements, applicants must be aged 25 or over .
