Warehouse Operative

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lloyd Recruitment Services is working with a well-established construction business in East Grinstead, who are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on and supporting the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role will involve:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coordinating the movement and distribution of materials and equipment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Receiving deliveries and ensuring items are stored correctly</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitoring inventory and ordering or replenishing stock when required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Taking responsibility for the storage facility and ensuring it remains efficient and well-organised</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coordinating the allocation, return and upkeep of tools and machinery</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Making sure equipment is in good working order and available when needed</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assisting with the preparation and clearance of construction sites</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring materials, tools and equipment are delivered to the right location at the right time</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Keeping accurate records and maintaining a safe, tidy working environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ideal candidate will have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience within warehousing, stores, logistics, construction or a similar environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A practical mindset and a willingness to get involved</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong organisational and time-management skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent attention to detail</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The confidence to manage stock, deliveries and equipment independently</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A proactive approach and the ability to identify and resolve issues</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with site and office teams</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What's on offer:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary of £30,000 DOE + benefits</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Permanent, full-time position</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">East Grinstead location</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working hours of either 7:30am - 4:30pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch</p>
