Warehouse Operative Nights

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative Nights to join a busy and well-established business in Bury St Edmunds.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on role working across different areas of the warehouse, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress within the business.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role will involve a mixture of inbound and outbound duties, along with supporting other areas such as value-added services. There are also opportunities for the right candidates to receive LLOP, HLOP and other forklift training.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Candidates will need to be comfortable working on their feet throughout the shift and carrying out regular manual handling, with boxes weighing up to 15kg.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay & Hours:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£14.20 - £16.00 p/hour, depending on shift</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Friday, 37.5-hour working week</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Late shift: 14:00 - 22:00</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Night shift: 22:00 - 06:00Warehouse Operative Nights Duties:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Handling inbound goods and checking deliveries</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting outbound operations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working within the Value-Added Services department as required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out regular manual handling of boxes up to 15kg</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Using warehouse equipment safely</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Opportunities to train on LLOP and HLOP trucks for the right candidates</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following all Health & Safety proceduresWhat We're Looking For:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet throughout the shift</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reliable and able to work as part of a team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good attention to detail</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous counterbalance or reach experience is desirable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Interested in developing new skills, including forklift training opportunities</p>
