<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 1:00pm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, pro rata</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: 25 hours per week</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a small warehouse and yard operation based in the Stoke on Trent</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a varied, hands-on position combining forklift driving, order picking and general warehouse duties.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will play a key role in ensuring orders are picked accurately and products are moved, loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move products around the warehouse and yard</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and unloading lorries safely and efficiently</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Moving and positioning pallets within the warehouse and yard</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Picking customer orders accurately based on instructions provided by the sales office</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring the correct products and quantities are selected</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Preparing orders ready for collection or dispatch</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out manual handling duties safely</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Checking products for damage and reporting any issues</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse and yard environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following all company health & safety procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting with general warehouse duties as required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What We're Looking For:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Counterbalance FLT licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous warehouse, yard or order-picking experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable undertaking manual handling as part of the role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good attention to detail and accuracy</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to follow picking and order instructions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A reliable, hardworking and proactive approach</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures</p>
