<p class="text-muted mb-3">Main Purpose of the Role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing a team of warehouse colleagues within a specific operational area (e.g., picking, packing, goods-in, replenishment, dispatch). Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Team Leader ensures that daily tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and accurately while maintaining high levels of colleague engagement and operational discipline.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">May involve manual handling and prolonged periods of standing or walking.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Occasional need to work additional hours during peak periods.Please note that candidates must be a commutable distance from Wimblington to be considered for this role.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Daily Operational Leadership:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead a team of warehouse operatives to deliver the shift plan and meet productivity and accuracy targets.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Allocate work, monitor progress, and adjust resources to maintain workflow and service levels.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all team members follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and site rules.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Act as the first point of contact for operational issues within the area.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure client SLA's are monitored and met.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shop floor visibility.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Onsite multi-user and third-party contract support.People Management & Development:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support onboarding, training, and continuous skill development of team members.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide regular feedback, coaching, and direction during the shift.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist the Operations Manager in conducting performance reviews and managing attendance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Promote a positive and inclusive team environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and help identify and escalate hazards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain high standards of housekeeping (5S) and ensure safe use of MHE and equipment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safety Behaviour Audits.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Near Miss reporting.Quality & Performance Monitoring</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor team performance using KPIs such as pick accuracy, productivity, stock integrity, and scan compliance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Investigate minor errors, support root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure adherence to quality standards and support reduction of defects or damages.Communication & Coordination</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain clear communication with the Operations Manager and other Team Leaders to ensure shift continuity.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide handover information at the end of each shift.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">In accordance with your role, you will review personal data and complete data processing. This task will follow UK GDPR regulations which will also include, for compliance, maintaining the organisations register of processing activities (ROPA) and where applicable the supporting data processing impact assessment (DPIA) and support the steering group.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to motivate and support colleagues.</p>
