Warehouse Supervisor

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Cooneen Group is recruiting for a full-time, permanent Warehouse Supervisor to support the day-to-day operation of our Managed Service Centre in Wrexham. The successful candidate will help lead a small, friendly team of operatives, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Responsibilities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring orders are processed and dispatched accurately and on time.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supervise and support warehouse operatives, allocating workload and monitoring performance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Promote a safe, productive working environment and ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain high standards of housekeeping, stock accuracy and operational efficiency.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support the training and development of team members.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist with goods-in, goods-out, stock movements and loading/unloading of vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Update and maintain warehouse records, shipping documentation and system data, including PRIMA.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist the Warehouse Manager with reporting, issue resolution and continuous improvement activities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify opportunities for improving the method of operation in your area of responsibility.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Implement improvements which have been agreed with your Manager.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support an environment in which people feel comfortable to share information, learning and knowledge within the design team and across the wider business.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Observe all Company Rules, Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies particularly in relation to Health and Safety, Harassment, Disciplinary and ICT Security.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Essential Criteria</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience leading, supervising or managing a team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience using stock control or warehouse management systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and warehouse-related IT systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Current DBS Vetting Check, or willingness to undertake a check.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Desirable Criteria</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">GCSE Mathematics and English (or equivalent).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience of PRIMA or a similar warehouse/order management system.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Forklift Truck or Telehandler Licence.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience managing warehouse operations involving similar product volumes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement principles.</p>
