<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will take responsibility for leading, motivating and developing a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring daily operational targets, productivity, quality and service levels are consistently achieved.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll be a visible, hands-on presence on the warehouse floor, leading by example, supporting your team and working closely with management and fellow Team Leaders to keep operations running smoothly.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">this is a new site, flexibility, initiative and a willingness to adapt will be essential. You'll need to be comfortable working in an environment where processes may evolve, challenges need resolving quickly and no two shifts are necessarily the same.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead, motivate and manage a team of 15+ warehouse operatives, driving performance, engagement and accountability.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Take ownership of daily shift operations, ensuring productivity, quality and service-level targets are achieved.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Allocate workloads effectively and ensure resources are deployed to meet changing operational demands.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain a strong presence on the warehouse floor, supporting operatives and leading by example.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor productivity, attendance and individual and team performance, addressing issues promptly.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coach, train and develop team members to improve performance and support progression.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify operational challenges, troubleshoot issues and implement practical solutions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Adapt quickly to changing priorities, volumes and processes within a growing e-commerce operation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, site policies, PPE</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support accurate stock handling, inventory control and inbound, outbound and despatch activities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work collaboratively with management and other Team Leaders to maintain operational efficiency and consistent standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, helping to develop processes and establish best practice as the site grows.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Promote a positive, accountable and team-focused working culture.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What We're Looking For</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Essential experience and skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Minimum 6 months' experience in a Team Leader role within logistics, third-party logistics (3PL), warehousing or e-commerce fulfilment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience managing a team of 15 or more warehouse operatives.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience working within a fast-paced, target-driven warehouse or distribution environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A hands-on leadership style, with the confidence to lead from the front and get involved in day-to-day operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly when operational challenges arise.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A proactive approach, with the initiative to identify issues, take ownership and drive improvements.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate, coach and hold a team accountable.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining productivity, quality and safety standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Flexibility to work 5 days out of 7 on a weekly rota.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Desirable experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous involvement in a new warehouse opening, site launch, operational mobilisation or start-up environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience supporting a growing e-commerce fulfilment operation where processes and ways of working are continually developing.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience across inbound, outbound, picking, packing and despatch operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A track record of helping teams adapt to change, improve performance and maintain high standards during periods of growth.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Ideal Candidate</p>
