We're looking for an experienced operational leader to take ownership of our clubhouse operation, leading the delivery of an exceptional member experience while driving hospitality standards, commercial performance and a culture of outstanding service.

This is a highly visible leadership role where no two days are the same. From leading reception and hospitality teams to overseeing events, improving member engagement and identifying new commercial opportunities, you'll play a key role in shaping the future experience of our Club.

What you'll be responsible for

As Head of Clubhouse Operations & Member Experience, you'll lead the day‑to‑day operation of all member‑facing areas, ensuring consistently high standards across reception, bar, hospitality, events and the wider clubhouse environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and inspiring our reception, hospitality and front‑of‑house managers and teams.
• Creating an exceptional member and visitor experience across every touchpoint.
• Driving service standards, operational consistency and a welcoming clubhouse atmosphere.
• Overseeing clubhouse events, member functions and social activities.
• Maximising bar, hospitality and secondary spend opportunities while maintaining strong commercial awareness.
• Overseeing staffing, rotas and operational deployment across front‑facing services.
• Monitoring budgets, margins and operational performance to support sustainable growth.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across Finance, Sport, Estates and People to deliver a seamless Club experience.
• Acting as a visible leader during busy trading periods, evenings and major Club events.

About you

You will be an experienced operational leader who thrives in customer‑focused environments and enjoys building high‑performing teams.

You'll bring:

• Experience leading hospitality, leisure, clubhouse or front‑of‑house operations.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer or member experiences.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets, margins or revenue performance.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A hands‑on approach with the confidence to lead from the front.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required to support key events and trading periods.

Why join The Parklangley Club?

This is an opportunity to join one of the South East's leading members' clubs through an exciting period of growth and transformation.

You'll join a forward‑thinking Senior Leadership Team committed to continually improving the member experience, investing in our people and developing new commercial opportunities.
