<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will play an important role in ensuring customers receive the correct products, orders are prepared accurately and the yard is maintained to a high standard.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a Yard Operative,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting with the day-to-day running of the yard. You will prepare customer orders, load and unload vehicles, receive deliveries, maintain stock levels and ensure the yard remains safe, organised and efficient.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a physically active role that would suit someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist customers with product enquiries and order collections.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pick and prepare customer orders accurately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure products are selected and prepared for collection, processing or delivery.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Load and unload customer and supplier vehicles safely.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Receive deliveries and check goods against delivery documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete all paperwork accurately and maintain operational records.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the management team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Keep the yard, storage areas and stock locations clean, tidy and well organised.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure products are stored safely and presented to a high standard.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow all company procedures relating to health and safety.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support colleagues and undertake additional duties as required.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">About You</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and enjoys working as part of a team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ideally, you will have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, distribution or trade counter environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent customer service and communication skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to work.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Confidence using both metric and imperial measurements.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience operating a forklift truck or side-loading vehicle would be an advantage, although training can be provided.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">An understanding of manual handling and safe working practices.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ability to work independently and prioritise workloads.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A willingness to learn, develop new skills and contribute to the success of the team.What's on Offer</p>
