Yard Shunter Driver - HGV Class 1 - Nights

First Logitics are currently recruiting for Yard Shunter Driver (HGV Class 1) to join our well established client based in Heywood. The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV Class 1 licence, experience in driving Terberg tug, a strong focus on health and safety, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Duties:

• Moving trailers between loading bays, parking areas and designated locations using a Terberg tug
• Couple and uncouple trailers safely
• Position trailers accurately for loading and unloading.
• Communicate with warehouse staff, traffic offices and other drivers.
• Ensuring all movements are completed safely and in line with site procedures

Shift pattern:

Monday to Friday or 4 on 4 off

18:00 - 06:00

Pay Rates (holiday upfront):

£19/h

£20.17/h Saturday

£22.41/h Sunday

Pay Rates (holiday accrued):

£16.95/h

£18/h Saturday

£20/h Sunday

Requirements:

• Valid Category CE / HGV Class 1 licence
• Experience in driving terberg tug is essential
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
