Van Delivery Driver

VAN COLLECTION DRIVER- NEWBURY

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our distribution client for a reliable and hardworking Van Collection Driver to join their team in Newbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, is comfortable with customer-facing work and is looking for a consistent Monday-to-Friday role.

Location: Newbury

Pay Rate: £12.71–£13.00 per hour

Working Hours: 08:30–17:00 (finish times may vary depending on the route)

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Overtime: Weekend overtime opportunities available

The Role:

Carrying out collections across an allocated delivery route.

Driving a company van safely and responsibly.

Ensuring collections are completed efficiently and professionally.

Undertaking an element of manual handling throughout the working day.

Maintaining high standards of customer service and health and safety.

Requirements

A valid UK driving licence is required (Min 1 years experienced preferred).

Candidates must complete a driving and health and safety assessment before starting. Please note that this assessment is unpaid.

Successful candidates will shadow an experienced driver for approximately 2–3 days before taking responsibility for their own route.

Vehicles are preloaded, helping you get on the road and start your route efficiently.

A reliable, punctual and professional attitude is essential.

No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements allowed for insurance purposes.
