Van Drivers - Newbury

We are currently recruiting for 3.5t Drivers locally based in Newbury RG14 on the following details:

Location:

Newbury RG14, Hambridge Lane

Hours:

Monday - Friday

Contract:

Temporary ongoing - full-time hours

Pay Rate:

Standard: £13ph (PAYE)

Overtime: £19.50ph (PAYE)

Main Duties

Loading and unloading parcels from a 3.5T van at the depot.

Completing daily collections and deliveries within allocated routes and timescales.

Using handheld scanners to track parcel movements and obtain proof of delivery.

Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and ensuring the van is roadworthy.

Providing professional customer service when interacting with businesses and residential customers.

Safely handling parcels, with some items weighing up to 25-30kg.

Following company procedures and maintaining accurate delivery records.Skills & Experience

Full UK driving licence (normally held for at least 12 months).

Good geographical knowledge and route-planning skills.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
