Are you a fully qualified and time served Heavy Vehicle/HGV Technician? Could you be interested in a Heavy Vehicle Mechanics teaching position? Balance Education are currently working with a client based in Derby that is looking for Tutors to teach apprentice learners. Our client is willing to take on a qualified Heavy Vehicle/HGV technician with industry experience and support them with teacher training.

Package and Benefits:-

- Salary Range - £38,000 to £42,000

- Training and development programme

- 33 days paid holiday

Essential experience and qualifications:-

- A Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle mechanics

- At least 5 years experience as an HGV/Heavy Vehicle technician in the industry.

- A keen interest to work in education.

Job Description:-

Monday to Friday

Permanent - Full-time

Provide theory and practical training to HGV/Heavy Vehicle apprentice learners in both workshop and classroom environments.

Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided. You will be using your knowledge and experience to present and demonstrate topics and will be encouraged to share your industry experiences to give real world industry context.
