HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver – Temporary to Permanent Opportunity Cranbrook, Kent Temp to perm £19.41–£21.75 per hour | Overtime £29.12–£32.63 per hour Driver Hire Ashford & Tonbridge are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver based in Cranbrook. This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity, with the successful candidate joining the client on a permanent contract after a successful 12-week qualifying period. Working Hours – 42.5 hours per week – 6:00am starts, Monday to Friday (please let us know if you are interested in nights, as this may be possible) – Some Saturday work required – Overtime paid after 42.5 hours Pay & Benefits – £ per hour – Overtime paid at £ per hour – Temporary to permanent opportunity after 12 weeks – Free on-site parking – PPE provided – Full training and ongoing support – Accrued or advanced holiday pay during the temporary period What You’ll Need – HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence – Valid Driver CPC – Digital Tachograph Card – ADR (Packages) licence – A minimum of 90 days’ HGV driving experience within the last 12 months (insurance requirement) – No more than 6 penalty points – No DD or DR convictions within the last year Your Responsibilities – Complete multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders to residential and commercial customers, including rural locations – Carry out manual handling as part of your daily duties – Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery point – Work safely, professionally and in line with all company procedures and transport legislation Why Apply?
