New Pass Class 2 Drivers Wanted - CA6 Area

Are you a newly qualified Class 2 Driver looking to gain valuable driving experience and start your HGV driving career

We are recruiting New Pass Class 2 Drivers to work with one of the largest parcel delivery companies in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified HGV drivers to gain hands on experience, develop their driving skills and build a long term career in the transport industry.

Previous Class 2 driving experience is not essential as our client has experience supporting new pass drivers and helping them develop their confidence behind the wheel.

Class 2 Driver Pay Rates

Day shifts pay (either 03:00 / 07:00 starts) £15.11 per hour

Night shifts pay (22:00 starts) £16.16 per hour

Class 2 Driver Shift Patterns

Day shifts or night shifts available

Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday

You must be available to work one day at the weekend as part of your regular shift pattern.

Class 2 Driver Job Responsibilities

Driving a Class 2 Cat C vehicle to deliver cages of parcels across the North West

Completing deliveries safely and efficiently

Loading and unloading cages of parcels as required

Following all driving regulations and company procedures

Maintaining high standards of safety and customer service

This is a physically demanding role involving the movement of parcel cages, so you must be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.

Class 2 Driver Requirements

You must hold a valid Class 2 Cat C driving licence

You must hold a valid Driver CPC card

You must hold a valid digital tachograph card

You must have no more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence

Drivers with DD DG or CD endorsement codes cannot be accepted due to our clients insurance requirements

You must be willing to complete a driving assessment before starting work.
