Rotochopper is looking for an experienced Class A CDL driver to transport our industrial equipment across the country. The primary focus of this role is safe, dependable delivery, often involving oversized and overweight loads. You’ll manage the truck, trailer, route, and equipment from pickup through delivery. Once you arrive, you’ll also help unload and set up the machine. At times, you’ll operate the equipment during a customer demonstration alongside our Sales team. The demonstration work is important, but your driving experience and ability to deliver large equipment safely are what matter most.

WHAT YOU’LL Do

• Safely transport Rotochopper machines, parts, and equipment over long distances, including oversized and overweight loads.
• Load, unload, and secure equipment; inspect the truck, trailer and load before departure.
• Plan and adjust routes based on permit, restrictions, road conditions and delivery needs while following DOT, state and federal requirements.
• Maintain required driver and vehicle inspection records, perform basic truck maintenance, and promptly report mechanical or safety concerns.
• At customer sites, help unload and set up equipment, work directly with customers, and support machine demonstrations with the Sales team as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING

• A current Class A CDL, clean driving record, and current DOT Medical Certificate.
• 3-5 years of over-the-road driving experience, including oversized and overweight loads.
• The ability to travel regularly, drive long distances, and spend extended periods away from home.
• Good judgement, independence, and strong communication skills when working with customers and team members.
• Mechanical or heavy equipment experience, including experience operating heavy equipment.

THE PHYSICAL SIDE OF THE JOB

• This is a safety-sensitive, hands-on role.
• You’ll frequently enter and exit a tractor cab and may bend, climb, kneel, push, and pull while securing freight, hooking and unhooking trailers, installing tire chains, and working outdoors in changing weather.
• The job requires frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds, and periodically up to 75 pounds.
• Required PPE must be worn as applicable.
