<p class="text-muted mb-3">I'm working with a well-established, global freight forwarding and logistics business looking to recruit an experienced Air Import Clerk / Operator to join their busy Heathrow operations team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a great opportunity to join a successful international organisation, working within a fast-paced environment where you'll be responsible for coordinating air import shipments, managing documentation and ensuring customers receive an excellent service throughout the process.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll be involved in the day-to-day management of air import shipments, coordinating the process from initial documentation through to final delivery, while working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Preparing and checking import documentation, customs paperwork and relevant shipping records.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Handling air waybills (HAWBs and MAWBs) and associated freight documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaising with customers, airlines, suppliers and haulage companies to coordinate shipments and deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Arranging collections and deliveries, ensuring customers are kept updated throughout the process.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Handling customer enquiries and resolving any shipment-related issues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Preparing quotations, checking supplier charges and processing shipment invoices.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring compliance with relevant customs procedures and import regulations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining accurate records and working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're looking for someone with solid experience in air imports or international freight forwarding who is confident managing shipments and dealing directly with customers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ideally, you'll bring:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in Air Import operations within freight forwarding.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A good working knowledge of customs clearance procedures and import documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Familiarity with air waybills, consolidations and relevant freight systems.</p>
