<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a Class 2 HIAB Driver,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently, providing a professional service to customers and supporting the wider depot team when required. The role requires a valid HIAB licence with hook attachment, along with experience in safe loading and securing of goods.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete scheduled deliveries and collections, following customer and site-specific instructions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide a professional and reliable service when representing the company at customer sites</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operate the HIAB safely, including the hook attachment, in line with relevant procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure activities at the depot and customer sites comply with health and safety</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete all required delivery and driver documentation accurately, including tachograph records</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Report any delivery issues, discrepancies or other concerns promptly</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist with yard duties, including loading, unloading, stock organisation and general depot support when required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work collaboratively with the depot team to maintain smooth daily operations and a safe, tidy working environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Class 2 HGV licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven Class 2 driving experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid HIAB licence with hook attachment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience operating a HIAB safely</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience using ratchet straps and securing loads</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good understanding of relevant transport and health and safety regulations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to complete driver and delivery documentation accurately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good communication and customer service skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to reliably commute to Reading, Berkshire, or relocate before starting</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience delivering to customer sites</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience working within a depot, yard or logistics environment</p>
