<p class="text-muted mb-3">Are you an experienced European Road Freight sales professional looking to join a growing, Italian-owned freight forwarding business with a strong reputation across Europe?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are recruiting for an ambitious and commercially focused Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across key European trade lanes, with a particular focus on Italy and Spain.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive sales professional with a proven track record in freight forwarding and road freight solutions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As a European Road Freight BDM,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for identifying, securing and developing new business opportunities across the UK market. Working closely with the operational teams in the UK and Europe, you will promote a range of international road freight services to customers within the retail and fashion sectors.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Generating new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and client visits.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Developing long-term relationships with importers, exporters, retailers and fashion brands.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Selling European groupage, part-load and full-load road freight solutions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Focusing on key Italy and Spain trade lanes.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Preparing competitive quotations and commercial proposals.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Negotiating rates and service agreements.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to account implementation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working alongside operations teams to ensure a smooth customer onboarding process.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in a Road Freight Business Development or Freight Forwarding Sales role.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong knowledge of European road freight services.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience selling freight solutions on the Italian and/or Spanish trade lanes would be highly advantageous.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Existing network of contacts within the retail and fashion sectors preferred.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven track record of winning new business.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK driving licence.Package</p>
