Class 2 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Wetherby area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 05:00am- 07:00am starts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay Rate: £16.54 per hour PAYE</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Location: Wetherby, LS23</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The role: - Please note that the role will be double manned</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Multi-drop delivering alcohol to bars/ restaurants within the local area</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Around 10 - 15 drops per day</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">ensure customer orders are secured and packaged correctly for delivery prior to departure</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Inform the customer of any order delays, stock shortages or problems</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist with the unloading of customer orders from the vehicle to the customer premises</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Collect empty kegs/pallets and returns - when back at Depot ensure they are handled and stored correctly within the Warehouse or yard.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete all paperwork/EPOD tasks and any administration tasks Liaise with Transport Management re. vehicle issues/delays</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

<p class="text-muted mb-3">1 years experience on Class 2</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).</p>

</ul>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full understanding of WTD legislation.</p>
