<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Job Type: Full-time, Permanent</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">An established international freight forwarding business is looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive to join its team in Crowthorne.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a great opportunity for someone with previous freight forwarding sales experience who enjoys pricing, customer interaction and securing new business opportunities across Air, Sea and Road Freight.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working closely with customers, overseas partners, carriers and the operations team,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for producing competitive freight quotations and following opportunities through from initial enquiry to shipment handover.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key responsibilities will include</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Preparing competitive and accurate pricing for bids, tenders and general quotations across Air, Sea and Road Freight</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Generating quotations through CargoWise</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaising with airlines and shipping lines to obtain competitive rates</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following up quotations and developing opportunities with customers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaising with UK customers and overseas partners/agents</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Handling customer and pricing-related queries</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Passing successfully secured shipments across to the operations team with clear instructions Internal sales role JD (2)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Candidate</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will ideally have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A minimum of 2 years sales experience within freight forwarding</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A good understanding of the freight forwarding industry</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong customer service and negotiation skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ability to provide accurate quotations across Air, Sea and Road Freight</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good numerical ability and attention to detail</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ability to work effectively in a busy, competitive environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A professional, positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop</p>
