Head Of Operations

<p class="text-muted mb-3">P&L experience is essential to understand & deliver budget</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure Daily planning service and cost</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements are met</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure Depot service results are achieved daily in line with agreed targets</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">In house audits and compliance checks are completed by departments/managers on time and in line with agreed targets/objectives</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Effective management reporting</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support customer development and retention in line with agreed targets</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Transport management responsibilities on O Licence, ensure OCRS rating is maintained, and Operator licence is managed effectively</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Training matrix and action plans are developed and achieved in line with set targets (transport, warehousing and H&S)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Management of all Warehouse and Transport operations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support BDM in new business and successful integration of these customers in line with agreed SLA’s</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Recruitment in all areas is met in line with budgetary</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements with a focus on removal of agency associated costs</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Achieve KPI’s through management team by coaching, mentoring and developing managers to achieve and exceed.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring all HR policies and procedures are adhered to</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Management control of QHSE adhering to company policies and procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What we'd like from you</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Transport/Logistics management experience of 5 years or more</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Transport Manager CPC (preferable)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">3PL Experience (Preferable)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">General Haulage experience (preferred)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Network experience (preferred)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven track record in driving operational improvements and achieving cost savings</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work well independently and part of a team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office including Excel to an intermediate level</p>
