<p class="text-muted mb-3">JOB DESCRIPTION</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">An excellent opportunity has become available for 3 experienced HGV Technicians to join an expanding commercial vehicle workshop based in Cambridgeshire.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Due to the recent award of a significant new contract, the business is increasing its engineering team and is looking for experienced technicians who can ideally start immediately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your responsibilities will include:</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Completing mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Preparing vehicles for MOT testing in accordance with DVSA</span></li>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To be considered for this position, you should have:</p>

<ul class="list-unstyled job-desc-list mb-3">

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>A minimum of two years' experience as an HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Mechanic</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or strong time-served experience</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Good mechanical, electrical, diagnostic and fault-finding skills</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Experience carrying out HGV servicing, inspections and repairs</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>A good understanding of DVSA maintenance standards</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>A full UK driving licence</span></li>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence would be advantageous but is not essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">PAY AND HOURS</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary is up to £21.00 per hour depending on experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 18:30</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Alternate Saturdays: 08:00 – 12:30</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates.</p>
