<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client is a market-leading provider of integrated road and rail freight logistics, offering a wide range of services including container transport and storage, domestic distribution, warehousing, freight management, and truck sales.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently recruiting for a Night Transport Planner to join their busy depot at London Gateway.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage and coordinate multiple drivers daily</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaise directly with UK ports to book delivery slots</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Use the TOPS transport system to record drivers' start and finish times</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor ETAs and ensure timely deliveries</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reroute jobs efficiently when required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all PODs (Proof of Deliveries) are accurately matched with corresponding jobs in the system</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Communicate with customers regarding potential delays and delivery updates</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience in transport operations - essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong geographical knowledge of the UK</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work independently and take initiative</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Quick thinking with strong problem-solving skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Highly organised and detail-oriented</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Flexibility to meet business demands</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Container experience - desirable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Remuneration & Benefits</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working Hours: Monday to Friday (19:00-06:00)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Annual bonus</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary £38,000 - £44,000</p>
