<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ocean Import Coordinator Overview</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">My client is looking for an Ocean Import coordinator who will be responsible for providing an excellent customer service experience across the full forwarding process. This will include activities such as customs clearances, quotations, arranging shipments and deliveries, invoicing and other operational functions required to support customers and the wider business. The role requires someone who can work accurately and efficiently within strict SOPs and KPIs while maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ocean Import Coordinator Responsibilities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete end-to-end Ocean Import forwarding activities as required by the role.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow strict and time-sensitive SOPs and KPIs to ensure compliance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work closely with internal and external customers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure timely completion of invoicing, job costing, customs entries and milestone updates.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare and submit internal and customer-specific reports within agreed deadlines.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Resolve customer and supplier queries promptly and professionally.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete customs entries accurately and within required timescales.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support departmental cost control.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Assist Senior Forwarders, the Supervisor and Line Manager where required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all internal and customer-specific reports are completed within deadlines.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work closely with the Operations Manager on internal and external rate reviews.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain strong customer relationships and remain in regular contact with customers and suppliers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Participate in customer reviews to build visibility and strengthen relationships.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous business-related experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A proven customer service record.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven operational experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience within the international transportation and logistics industry.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A thorough understanding of customer needs.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of the international transportation and logistics industry, particularly Air, Sea and Road operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understanding of financials and their impact on the business.</p>
