<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're currently working with a well-established and highly regarded freight forwarding business that is looking to add import Operations Coordinator to its growing team in Chelmsford.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The company has a strong reputation within the freight forwarding sector and is continuing to develop its operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in ocean/sea freight imports who enjoys being hands-on, dealing directly with customers and suppliers, and taking ownership of shipments from start to finish.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll be joining an experienced operations team and working closely with the Operations Manager, customers, overseas agents, suppliers and transport providers to ensure shipments move efficiently and customers are kept fully updated.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What will you be doing?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Managing the end-to-end import process, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently from arrival through to delivery.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaising with customers and clients to provide regular updates and ensure their</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working closely with overseas agents, suppliers, freight forwarders and transport companies to obtain accurate and up-to-date shipment information.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coordinating deliveries and ensuring transport providers have everything they need to meet customer</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Checking and maintaining all relevant shipping and import documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring files are kept accurately and that shipments are correctly costed and billed.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">About You</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're looking for someone with previous experience within freight forwarding, ideally with a strong background in ocean/sea freight imports.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll ideally have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in a freight forwarding operations role.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good knowledge of the ocean import process.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong communication skills and the confidence to deal with customers, suppliers, agents and hauliers.</p>
