<p class="text-muted mb-3">We’re recruiting for a growing speciality coffee business with an international outlook and a start-up mentality.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on person to help keep its Acton warehouse running smoothly—and get involved in the wider business.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You could be organising stock one day, helping prepare a coffee tasting for customers the next, and joining a supplier call with partners in Ethiopia to discover the journey behind the coffee.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You don’t need to arrive as a coffee expert or a qualified forklift driver. Bring reliability, initiative and a willingness to learn—training will be provided.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What you’ll be doing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Around 70% of your role will involve practical warehouse duties, including:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Receiving deliveries, organising stock and preparing orders for dispatch.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading, unloading and moving goods, including operating a counterbalance forklift once trained and authorised.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting stock checks.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Packing coffee products and samples, and keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.Alongside this, you’ll have opportunities to:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Help organise and set up customer coffee tastings, known as “cupping” sessions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Learn about coffee sample preparation and support basic roasting activities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Welcome customers, help with order enquiries and support the sales team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Join regular supplier calls with Ethiopia and learn how the coffee is sourced.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Contribute ideas and lend a hand across a small, ambitious team.What will make you a great fit?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You’re someone who notices what needs doing and takes pride in doing it well. You’re comfortable getting stuck into practical tasks, but equally happy speaking with a customer or learning something new.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A reliable, proactive approach and a positive attitude.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Confidence communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good organisation, attention to detail and basic IT skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ability to carry out physical warehouse duties safely. The role includes handling 30kg coffee bags, using appropriate equipment, assistance and safe handling procedures.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">An interest in coffee and enthusiasm for learning about the business.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ideally, a full UK driving licence, although this is not essential. Previous warehouse or stock-handling experience would be helpful. Customer service, hospitality or barista experience would also be welcome.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">An existing forklift qualification is welcome but isn’t essential—counterbalance forklift training will be provided.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a 22.5-hour-per-week contract, offering an approximate annual salary of £18,591, based on a full-time equivalent salary of £31,000.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your working pattern will be agreed as either:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Three days per week, 9am–5pm, or</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Four days per week, 10am–4pm.Unpaid breaks bring the contracted paid hours to 22.5 per week.</p>
