<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join a busy logistics operation, managing daily UK transport movements and ensuring customers receive a first-class service.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience in transport, logistics, freight forwarding, or distribution who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives on problem-solving.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coordinate daily UK collections and deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Arrange transport with approved hauliers, carriers, and subcontractors.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage a variety of freight movements including full loads, part loads, palletised freight, and groupage shipments.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor vehicle movements and maintain regular communication with drivers and transport providers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide customers with accurate shipment updates and estimated delivery times.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Resolve transport issues including delays, failed collections, delivery discrepancies, damages, and shortages.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Book timed collections and delivery appointments.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Obtain competitive transport rates and prepare customer quotations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Source cost-effective transport solutions while maintaining service quality.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Process and monitor Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Investigate and resolve delivery queries and invoice discrepancies.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare completed transport files for billing and ensure all charges are correctly recorded.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Update internal systems and maintain accurate transport records.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong working relationships with customers and suppliers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ideal candidate will have:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">✅ Previous experience within transport, logistics, freight forwarding, or distribution</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">✅ Strong knowledge of UK road transport operations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">✅ Excellent communication and customer service skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">✅ The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple shipments simultaneously</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">✅ High attention to detail and strong organisational skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">✅ Experience using transport management systems and Microsoft Office</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">✅ A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making</p>
